Rene Kitsli is a visual artist and architect based in Greece whose practice unfolds at the intersection of architecture, painting, and material exploration. Trained in architecture at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and holding a postgraduate degree in urban planning from the National Technical University of Athens, her background in spatial design informs the layered structure, rhythm, and atmospheric depth of her paintings. After years working across the architecture and construction sectors in Greece and the Middle East, Rene returned to Greece to embrace a slower pace of life and deepen her artistic practice. Inspired by nature, femininity, mythology, and ecological philosophy, she creates intuitive compositions where organic forms, nymph-like figures, and dreamlike landscapes emerge through intricate layers of color, inviting viewers into emotionally charged worlds where fragility and strength coexist.
