She is a Secondary Education teacher with a rich academic background in Food Technology and Nutrition, Pedagogy, Aging and Chronic Diseases, and creative animation (ANIMA). A self-taught painter, her artistic journey was shaped during a  three-year apprenticeship at the Hellenic Center of Art and Culture under Antonis Kourtikakis, where she studied Art History, design, Watercolor, Oil Painting etc.  Raised in a creative household, she embraces the arts of Weaving and  Embroidery, which blends seamlessly with her painting. Her artworks  reflect Greek light, color, and heritage, creating harmonious and   dreamy evocative pieces. Her thematic collections celebrate Greek beauty, culture, nature, and tradition: “Petra’s Stories” : narratives inspired by the stone itself and the Greek landscape.  “Dreamy World” : imaginative and dreamy textile art creations. “greek.dec.art” (Greek Decorative Art): artworks rooted in specific places and historical periods 16th -19th century, researched from Greek embroidery preserved in museums in Greece and abroad. Her artistic career includes solo exhibitions and numerous group shows. She is a wife and mother of three children.
