Katie Antonaros was born in Kalamata in March, 1982. She started engaging with painting earlier than she can remember herself. From 2017 to 2022 she attended painting classes at the Visual Arts Workshop of Kalamata alongside important artists - teachers. During this time, she presented her work at eleven group exhibitions at the Cultural Center, the Dance Hall and the Art Center of Kalamata, which are organized by the Workshop twice a year in order to exhibit the works of its students. She has also participated in four group exhibitions at the 11th Kalamata Street Festival (2019), Thessaloniki (2022) and Athens (2023 and 2025). Her love for the arts does not stop at painting. Since 2001 she has been a member of the Messinian Amateur Theatre where she acts, designs posters and takes part in set painting. She has participated in the creation of two short films entitled "White Thorn" (2013) and "OXeSY" (2015).  From October 2024 she has been a student of a private school in Athens in the specialty "Art of Painting" as she believes that education contributes to the deepening of the already existing knowledge and that it is a continuous discovery of new data and an evolutionary course in learning that never ends.
