Roza Tarpagkou was born in 1983 in Thessaloniki, Greece. She holds a PhD in Civil Engineering, yet her creative curiosity soon led her beyond the boundaries of science. Since 2014, she has been living and working in France, where her artistic journey gradually took shape. After several years as a researcher at the University of Grenoble, Roza followed her lifelong passion for art and painting, embarking on a new path in 2022. She studied mixed media at the École des Beaux-Arts in Grenoble, drawing at the École Nationale Supérieure in Paris, portraiture at the École Nationale Supérieure in Lyon, and Art History at the École de Louvre. Her paintings reflect a dialogue between nature and memory, nostalgy and feeling. She actively participates in international group exhibitions in France and Greece, and in 2025 she held her first solo exhibition in France. Some of Roza’s paintings are part of private collections, while others are available through selected galleries and on her personal Instagram page.
